That is a tough call. My list includes:
In 2004: Volcano, I'm Still Excited! The Rosebuds The Everyothers
In 2005: United States of Electronica The Silos Matson Jones The Wilderness Ladyfinger Dios Malos
In 2006: STNNNG Simon Joyner and the Wind-up Birds Cursive NOMO
And of course, any show Joe's at.

I am in agreement with all 3 of Whipkey's picks - I will add The Life and Times, Ideal Cleaners/Domestica and the Bunnygrunt shows from 2007.

The Rosebuds show was memorable, not just for the great music but also watching that exciting comeback in the Yankees vs. Red Sox playoff game, the one that sparked the Red Sox to come back and win the series.
His Name Is Alive with Nomo opening. That was before anyone knew what to expect out of Nomo, which made it all the more exciting.

Brendan - I probably won't make it out to O'Leavers because I'll be down in Lincoln for the final Rent Money Big show. It's been ages since I went to a show at all around here.
The best shows at O'Leavers seemed to always be witnessed by a dozen or less people. Cub Country played for about 6 people. The Holy Shroud played for maybe 10. Player's Club played full tilt for me and a couple friends.
I also loved every time the Philharmonic / Virgasound played so loud that I couldn't hear for the next three days.

I had a really fun time at the "real" music meltdown show... I just remember that the 2nd annual music meltdown was cancelled cuz no one bought tickets at all so they cancelled the whole 2nd day and some of the bands played at Oleavers just last minute that night...
I think it was Little Brazil, Someday Stories, Prospect Avenue. Good night!
