Savannah Stopover Music:
Over 70 bands, most of which are en route to SXSW, will fill Savannah’s small clubs and venues with the best up and coming indie acts. Bands have been hand-curated across multiple genres to represent an ideal microcosm of emerging excellence. Highlights include The War On Drugs, Grimes, Caveman, Oberhofer, Prince Rama, The Love Language, The Men, PUJOL, Guards, Girl In A Coma, The Knocks, Jukebox The Ghost, and SO many more.
Savannah Stopover Hospitality:
Savannah is nicknamed “The Hostess City” for good reason. Bands are treated to the best in Southern food, drink, merriment and hospitality and given the opportunity to stay in local Savannah homes. Biscuits and gravy for breakfast is not out of the question! Festival goers get to immerse themselves in the shamelessly social mayhem of the South’s most beautiful, vibrant and creative small city.

Savannah Stopover Fun:
Savannah’s open container laws make it one of only a few places in the U.S. where merriment takes to the streets. We're thrilled to announce that the Third Man Records Mobile Record Store will be headed to Savannah, making stops all over town. Festivalgoers will have a packed schedule full of fun opportunities, from daytime walks around historical Savannah to late night afterparties with special guest DJs as well as afternoon stages with beer, barbecue and sliders. Other exciting events at Savannah Stopover 2012 include showcases from both Kanine Records and Neon Gold Records, who will be presenting some of their roster's most promising new talent.
