I just saw the ugly exchange of words you went through earlier. Yikes. Now, Tim. I never said the words "Cog Factory" on the Linoma Calling show. I didn't want to mention them just now, consider that that's what you guys tried to stir shit up about. Come on. The only venue I mentioned was Sokol, and it was about seeing a good band play there. Don't make me put a transcript of the show online. (Hey, that's not a bad idea.) Sounds like you misquoted me AND Marc both.
I know that Fromanhole, the only band that "didn't take part in the whine fest" did express their fondness for the old place. I appreciate the fact that you want to do write-ups, but let's keep it as accurate as possible. Cool? I want everybody in the local music scene to have a positive experience, and most people know that. I won't be getting into any debates with anyone regarding anything; I have more important things to do. However, I did feel the need to put in this request. Take care, Randy

You're right, of course. Like I said, I didn't have my notes with me when I was responding to the guy on that string. You said, "If we just had more venues to play -- and to see bands play -- well, we'd all get a lot more exercise." But you were never quoted in the printed column to begin with. And, yes, I did quote Leibs accurately.
