I saw "Trail of Dead" the last time they graced Sokol and it was one of the only bands I've ever seen to destroy all of their equipment half-way through a show only to keep playing for another 45 minutes while roadies tried to piece things back together. Interestingly (or not) the same can be said for the time I saw them at Siren Fest in Brooklyn last summer...

Ever since i heard the latest Trail of Dead cd, i thought "this is going to be a damn good live show." they remind me of an indie rock with a bit of pop version of Tool...CANT WAIT! i heard it was not a well received show and it is really too bad. I know the River just started playing one of their songs a few months back and it was their most "pop" friendly tune from the cd.

That Trail Of Dead show at Sokol Underground was just awesome.
Putrescine and The Carsinogents, too.
