Saturday, April 9 at the 49'r 49th & Dodge St. (554-5841)
The Monroes (Speed Nebraska Records) The Diplomats of Solid Sound (Estrus Records) The Spring Hill Mine Disaster
ESTRUS v. SPEED NEBRASKA RECORDS - EPISODE III: REVENGE OF THE SCYTHE
Solid Action Soul and Tractor Punk. "Keep Your Hands Off My Popcorn" and "Kiss Your Elbow Goodbye." Tight security is not expected. Tight drumming by J. Viner is expected. If you have not seen the Diplomats of Solid Sound on their previous visits, you really should kick yourself for being such an idiot. Now you have another chance to redeem your lost scene cred and get in on the fun. Have you been to funky town? These guys are the house band- soulful hammond, booty shaking grooves, tight guitar breakdowns. Also playing will be our pals The Spring Hill Mine Disaster. It'll be a fun night playing with our friends, and a great night to see three bands that rock but sound nothing alike.
