Kinski, Kinski, Kinski!
Let the mindmelding begin! July 12th, Kinski are going to put a death grip on
your ears with their new out of this world epic "Alpine Static." This sucker
catches you by surprise and buries its guitar lines deep in the sinews of your
brain before you can even figure out what is ripping out of your stereo. If you
don't believe me, you can listen to the record and decide for yourself with this
oh so convenient album stream! Get it...

Once you've decided that "The Wives of Artie Shaw" (which you can download with
the link below) has the most badass flute solo you've ever heard and that you
need to own this record you can hop on over to SubPop.com and preorder it.

Wolf Parade, Sub Pop's newest Canadian import, are also releasing their
self-titled EP on July 12th and you aren't going to want to miss this one. Their
upcoming album "Apologies to the Queen Mary" is what the Time Magazine (albeit
the Canadian version) called one of "Canada's most anticipated indie albums of
the year." This EP gives you a little morsel of that album with 2 tracks that
will be found on the record and two B-sides that are exclusive to this release.
Listen to the lengthily titled, but oh so sweetly delivered, “You are a runner,
and I am My Father’s Son” and preorder below:

The Fruit Bats Spelled in Bones is coming out very soon as well, approximately
1,566,000 seconds from when I am typing this message actually, or on July 26th
for the less chronologically inclined. This record hints at Donovan while still
keeping you anchored at Eric Johnson’s creative mannerisms, which come out at
you oh so sweetly. If you want to hear the lead track “Lives of Crime” we have
conveniently hosted it for your aural amusement at subpop.com so go listen to
that and then preorder the sucker at the link below. Wait, to sweeten up this
pie you could also be one of 20 random winners to get a copy of the “Tragedy +
Time” LP, of which only 500 exist and they are long out of print, so do that…
